bridle setup for Dowel Diamond kite

I don't understand the bridle setup for the Dowel Diamond. You say the upper bridle is 36" and lower is 48", but I don't see how the 2 get connected, or where the ends of the lower attach, aside from 24" up from the bottom of the main staff. Thanks.

Diamond bridle

Hi Steve,

Tie the lower line to the middle of the upper line, using a Prusik knot so you can shift it left or right.

Not sure where you got the figures you quote - currently, the photo on page 3 of 'How To Make A Diamond Kite' shows a lower bridle line length of 72", tied 14 1/2" from the bottom end.

Feel free to contact me (https://www.my-best-kite.com/about-the-webmaster.html) if you need more help :-) T.P.
