Everything from the big Sled with its eye-catching diamond cut-outs to the Dopero which soars like an eagle on the slightest whiff of rising air. Also, the three-kite Simple Series, two Box kites and a giant 3-spar Sled. 14 kites in all.

"Making Skewer Kites - Fun For Every Generation"

All the website pages which relate directly to the 8-kite Series of 1-Skewer designs and the more advanced 2-Skewer Series are brought together and neatly formatted into this single, printable book. In addition, there is the Tiny Tots Diamond, 2 Box kites and a Tetrahedral kite. 20 kites in all.

"Kite Bridles & Flying Lines - An FAQ Plus Supporting Articles"

About half the questions asked through the MBK site are on this topic. So here they all are, with the corresponding answers. Creating and flying all the Skewer and Dowel kites required some work on bridles and lines too, of course! So that body of info is here as well. Finally, there are some general-interest topics covered. Such as the history of Dacron, the most common line material used for single-line kite bridles and lines.

This tutorial also has no corresponding website content. It leads you step-by-step through a process to get any 2-tone clip-art image off the Internet and on to your kite sail! Not all of us are artistically gifted, but this tutorial goes a long way to narrowing the gap, when it comes to the final result. When people ask 'did you do it yourself?' you can answer 'sure I did!' even though you were not the original design creator.

"Climbing Kites - 10 Selected Thermal Tales from my-best-kite.com"

Have you come across my flight reports on various kite outings yet? This eBook is simply a collection of the best thermal-flying tales I could put together, featuring kites from either of the Skewer Series. The 2-Skewer kites really excel at this type of flying, but occasionally things get interesting with a little 1-Skewer design as well!
